Lancaster Building Renovation, Calgary, AB

To provide sufficient square footage for a new anchor retail tenant, a new street-level entrance lobby and interior circulation had to be created from previously unused space. The client requested the new lobby 'seamlessly integrate with the historic nature' of the Lancaster Building. Although a small project, the Client and Ownership were highly involved in every aspect of the design. The Lancaster Building anchors one end of ‘The Core’ - Calgary downtown’s premier indoor shopping mall managed by a nation-wide organization. The Owner’s group include two of Canada’s largest Real Estate Investment Companies.
