JSS Barristers, Calgary AB (2012 – 2017)

Occupying the top 4 floors of the historic Lancaster Building, JSS Barristers sought to create a contemporary interior set into the historic terra-cotta Lancaster Building in downtown Calgary. Contemporary interiors require precision and exact dimensions, not exactly found in a 100-year old building! A strategy was developed that could accomodate building irregularities yet provide the cohesive and ordered interior required by the client. Hospitality design concepts were introduced making the interior more residential in character.
